Panasonic Blu-Ray

I purchased this for my blu-ray Mom and Dad 50th wedding anniversary gift. I bought it so they could use Netflix. My husband and I set out for them was very easy. They love the feature Netflix. I would recommend to anyone who wants a blu-ray and video streaming is not an X-Box 360 or Playstation 3. Rome, GA.

This player is fairly great!! (Using AT & T U-Verse)

After reading many comments here, I had my doubts about buying this player. I was looking for my first blu ray player, and needed something that would make Netflix streaming to justify the purchase. In short, the price was right and decided to seize the opportunity.

The result was excellent. I have AT & T U-verse Internet with a wireless Ethernet adapter in the room where I can set the player, and let me say that Netflix, Pandora, and you tube streaming are all excellent (I'm very curious to see what the Fox Sports and other streaming services like when they are available – I have not tried the streaming amazon, but this player is capable of that too). The flow is smooth and high quality – the quality and not very blu ray streaming, but slightly better than a conventional DVD.)

For blu ray disks, boot time is excellent. There is a Quick Start function, which I refused to use because using more electricity, but the boot time still only took a few seconds. The menus are easy to navigate and fairly straightforward.

Blu ray disc playback is gorgeous and looks like as expected. Crisp, clear image that instantly made me happy with the purchase. If you are looking for a good blu ray player connectivity with Netflix, this is probably a good choice.

Great BD player

I just got this player yesterday later. I am replacing a Sony BDP-S300. From the time I got the box open to the placing on the first album was less than 5 minutes. The picture and sound quality are years ahead of the old Sony. Start time is only a few seconds compared to minutes with the S300. Also smaller and lighter. I use a Panasonic 42 " plasma and a Sony receiver 7.1. I'm surprised by the bright colors even on regular DVD. The price paid for the Sony was about 3 times the price of the DMP BD 65P-K. I recommend this player
